Delhi Public School Karnal organized a wonderful Story Telling Session by Ms Namrata Jain, an acclaimed author of ‘Namaste series’ on 4th October, 2023. The aim of the event was to promote reading habits, traditional perspectives, and moral values among students amid the fast-paced world of social media.
The session was attended by students of classes III to VI who were captivated by the author’s fabulous and extraordinary narrative style . The importance of traditional perspectives and morals in today\u2019s modern era were beautifully and vividly explained to our children through the Trilogy of Namaste Kabir, Namaste Tulsidas and Namaste Rahim.The characters created in the stories were not only endearing but also served as role models for children teaching them the importance of kindness, empathy and perseverance. The event was dynamic and interactive, with students asking many questions about the renowned poets mentioned in the Trilogy and showing great interest in their work and our cultural heritage. The highlight of the event was the opportunity for students to purchase autographed books with personalized messages. The event was graced by the Chairperson Ms Swati Aggarwal and the Principal Dr Suman Madan , making it an inspiring experience for all attendees. Overall, the session was a huge success in promoting reading and inculcating values in students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
