Faridabad(Vinod Vaishnav ) | Talent Hunt 2020, an Inter State Dance Competition was organised by Shri Natraj Nritya Academy at Aravali International School, Sector 85, Faridabad on 12th January, 2020. The MLA – Mr. Rajesh Nagar was the Chief Guest and renowned International artist Marie Elangovan was the Guest of Honour. Apart from Dilip Saha- Kathak Guru, Debashish Adhikari from Pracheen Kala Kendra and Sonali Dhara- a Bharatnatyam exponent also judged the competition. The organiser of the show, Twinkle Sharma, who runs her Dance Academy at New Delhi and Faridabad told the press that the platform was set for the budding artists to showcase their talent and will help them to rise further.
The level of the competition was very high. The participants looked eager to perform and the competitive performances enchanted and hypnotised the audience.Special performances by Aravali International School and Pandit Ravi Prakash – an A grade Doordarshan artist and his team stole the show. The winners in different categories were : Anshika Sharma from Delhi and Diya Singh shared the first position in Junior Category, Semi classical. Lochan Raghav from Faridabad bagged second position in the same category. Jenya Gera from Faridabad stood first in Contemporary. Karishma Aniket from Faridabad stood first in Junior Category. In Senior category, Sana Arora from Delhi and Vaishnavi Pooja Gautam from Faridabad stood first in Classical Kathak. In Senior category, Anshika Sharma from Greater Noida stood first in Semi classical. Dhwani Arun and Srisoniya Subramaniyan from Delhi stood first in Classical Bharatnatyam. Nayamat Abrol from Faridabad stood first in Bollywood. In Senior most Category, Uma Raja stood first in Bharatnatyam. Shirin Sharma and Manmeet Kaur from Delhi bagged first prize in semi classical duet category. In classical Kathak duet, Shreya Joshi and Shivangi Mishra from Ghaziabad stood first in Junior Category, group dance.
In junior category group dance, Trisha Kathuria, Nandini Chechi, Ridhi Gurudev from Faridabad, bagged the first position. In classical group category, Dhwani Arun, Nisha Ramesh and Srisoniya Subramaniyan from Delhi bagged the first position. The event was hosted by Rupali Bajaj from Saharanpur
